Hi everyone, my name is Vaughn and I am going on a trip in Colorado to discover, uncover and find out about what art means to Colorado.  This journey is sponsored by Giclee Print Net, Inc of Pueblo, Colorado.  This summer I will be attending as many art festivals and art galleries as I can manage.  This blog will be showing and testifying about the experience of discovering Colorado art and the artists that make it happen.  So far, starting in June, I have been to galleries and art festivals in Florence, Canon City, Salida, Buena Vista, Vail, and Boulder.  Sarah has been to the Pueblo Art Walk and the Cherry Creek Arts Festival.  This last weekend I went to Aspen and there is much more to come.   I can’t believe that I get to do this! I get to Discover the Art of Colorado.  The beauty of the mountains, the art, the food, the music ( I am taking my guitar and mandolin) and the people. Click on HOME to see the blogs as they are posted or click on the Discovering the Art of Colorado on the right to see the postings in chronological order.  Please follow along, I will be Posting every night after the days travel so enjoy. Vaughn

Too bad you don’t have Salida on your list. We just finished our successful artwalk. We have so many galleries run by the artists themselves which makes us very unique and outstanding. On your way back home, stop in and visit us. I’m the green cat gallery at 124 G. st. Salida, Co.

Thank you for commenting. Salida is on my third stop. If you go back to the blog and click the
Category Discovering the Art of Colorado you will see Salida. I sure I wished I could have stayed
for the whole weekend. The city was just bursting with excitement about the weekend.
